About
We are committed to educating ourselves about the roles we play as men in a patriarchal society and hold a regular group for men to meet and discuss relevant topics in a safe space. This includes an exploration of current issues and how they relate to our personal experiences as men and of other people in our lives. The space allows us to practise new ways of relating to ourselves and each other as we seek to recognise and undo our own patriarchal conditioning.
We draw on relevant books and articles to support our education and approach all subject matter from an intersectional feminist stand point. Through open conversations and active listening, we hope to aid and inspire each other by developing processes of accountability, vulnerability and mutual support and to become better allies to everybody who experiences opression at the hands of patriarchy.
